Count Monday-through-Friday dates in a range and optionally exclude local holiday dates. The start date is included and the end date is excluded, so choosing the same date at both ends returns no elapsed days. Weekend dates are not counted as business days, and a listed holiday only reduces the result when it falls on a weekday inside the interval. Enter holidays as comma-separated YYYY-MM-DD values. The result follows this explicit convention; contract and jurisdiction rules may count dates differently.
Choose the included start date and excluded end date.
Optionally list public or organization holidays as YYYY-MM-DD dates.
Review weekdays, total calendar days and only the holidays excluded within the range.
Business days: Weekdays in [start date, end date) − listed weekday holidays in that interval
Calendar days: End date − start date
Is the end date included?
No. The start date is included and the end date is excluded. Choose the day after the final date if you need to include that final weekday.
Are public holidays automatically loaded?
No. Add the holiday dates that apply to your country, region or organization; the calculator does not assume a holiday calendar.
